7. Click the Browse... button to browse to the following driver directory:

<ZDS Install>\debugtools\Z8F6481\samples\USB_UART

8. Click Next to install the driver. Depending on your computer settings, a Security dia-

log may appear; in this dialog, select

Install this driver software anyway.

This step may take a few moments to complete.

9. After the Wizard finishes the installation, click

Close.

10. Confirm that the driver was successfully installed by opening the

Device Manager

from the Windows Start Menu, then enter Device Manager in the Search pro-

grams and files

field. Press Enter and locate the USB Serial Port (COMx), as indi-

cated in Figure 28.
